Win a $240 Party with Psychic & Medium Alva
1. Who’s Eligible
Residents of Durham Region, Ontario who are 18+. Guests of party must also be 18+. The winner, or “host” of the party, agrees to have the party at their location or a location in which they arrange. The party is not to be hosted at a location provided by Alva. Alva is not responsible for costs associated with guests travelling to location provided by host.
2. Length of Contest Period
This weekly contest will run from Sunday November 3rd, 2013 and end on Sunday December 29th. One (1) contest entry will be selected at random from all contest entries received from November 3rd to December 29th, 2013.
3. How do I Participate?
No purchase necessary. You do not have to be a past client of Alva’s or a client who’s currently scheduled for an upcoming appointment or party. If you are currently scheduled for an upcoming party you may retain your appointment and it will be reduced by the value of this prize. To participate please do the following:
1. “Like” the Alva Folkes Psychic Medium webpage https://www.facebook.com/AlvaFolkesPsychicMedium . If you win we need to contact you by private message in order to advise you of your contest win.
2. “Like” the weekly contest photo for a free reading (required) on https://www.facebook.com/AlvaFolkesPsychicMedium
3. “Tag” your friends in the comments section of the weekly contest photo for a free reading on(optional) https://www.facebook.com/AlvaFolkesPsychicMedium . For the tag to count you MUST use the @ symbol ahead of the name and the name must become a hotlink, so it properly tags them.
4. You can earn up to 2 entries per week. One entry for liking the weekly contest photo (required) and 1 entry for tagging friends the weekly contest photo (optional).
4. How do I Get More Entries?
Each week we will post the weekly contest entry post. It will advise the week or period of entry. You can gain 2 entries per week by
following the “How do I Participate” method listed above to each weekly contest post. In total there are 8 weeks for this contest which can generate a maximum of 16 entries per person. Multiple entries per household are permitted provided each participants meets the eligibility criteria listed above and is a separate individual. Multiple entries from the same user having multiple accounts will be disqualified. Winner may transfer the prize to someone else if they choose.
5. Prize & Winner Selection
Participants are eligible to win a free party with Alva Folkes Psychic Medium for up to 6 people (host + 5 people). Readings will be 20 minutes in length for each of the 6 participants. Total value of the prize is $240. If the winner is not able to obtain a total of 6 people for readings
(host included) there will not be a refund or replacement for the missing participants. There is no cash or cash related substitute for this prize. The reading will need to be scheduled after being notified as the winner and at a date which mutually works for both the winner and Alva Folkes Psychic Medium. The party must take place no later than December 31st, 2014 and can be conducted any time/day of the week. Please note
that Alva typically is booked in advance for parties, so there may be a small wait time from when the winner is selected to when the party can be performed. If you already have an upcoming party booked with Alva and you are the winner your scheduled party will be reduced by the value of this prize. If you’ve recently had a party with Alva a refund of the value of this party will not be issued, a new party needs to be scheduled as per the above conditions. The party must take place within Durham Region, Ontario and be held at a location provided by the winner. The winner will be notified via private message on Facebook and must respond within 48 hours of being notified. If no response is received we will select a new entrant.
6. Disqualification
Each individual is allowed to enter once per week via:
1) Liking the weekly contest post and
2) Sharing the weekly contest post.
If it’s discovered multiple entrants have been submitted by the same person in any fashion they will be disqualified. You must meet the conditions listed above to be qualified.
7. Additional Information
This contest is not endorsed, connected to, run by or sponsored by Facebook. Entrants recognize they are providing personal information in order to enter. Personal information will not be used for solicitation and will only
be used for this contest.
Participants release Alva Folkes Psychic Medium and her associates any liability in connection with this contest or any incident related to the contest and acceptance of their portion of the prize. The terms of these rules are subject to change at the discretion of Alva Folkes Psychic Medium and associates. Participants are considered the account holder of the Facebook account at time of entry and may be required to provide proof of identify and proof that they are authorized account holder.

A declaration form and skill testing question will be requested to be completed by the potential winner. And correctly answering the skilling
testing question and completing the declaration form is required to be claimed the winner.
