Marriage. Sept 18
I had the pleasure of attending a family wedding. To hear the words chosen that represented the commitment of a mature couple in the ceremony. When young people marry it’s always about the passion, children, making a home, encouraging each others’ career and growing old together. In perfect world this would work for everyone. We do not live in a perfect world.
When mature couples marry the ideals and desires change. It now becomes about mutual respect, sharing interests which could be a drive in the country, a vacation or even walking Fido in the park. None the less it is wonderful to see love blossom and grow and mature enough that two individuals wish to make a commitment with family and friends in attendance to share the joys of the future. So, I personally find it exciting and wonderful when someone finds a new partner who truly wants to share the future, whatever that might be.
Wishing all mature loving couples many years of joy, happiness and long life. In love and life.
