Crossing Over
I was asked recently to help a distant relative to cross into the light. I am always honoured to help those in need whenever possible. He had been suffering for a very long time and had requested assisted death. What a huge and complicated decision that must have been and it takes time. As a human race I believe we are kinder to our pets than we are to our loved ones.
I was given date and time. I sat and meditated a few hours before to subconsciously let Mark know I was asked and would be there to assist at the appropriate time. I returned close to the time allotted and was over whelmed by the Angels filling the room. The room was filled with a loving atmosphere that could only be described as a pure essence of love and connection to source, also known as the God your understanding.
I suggested that he could cut the cord of the soul so that he would choose his passing and leave the physical body. In this way he would not feel the chemical being injected into the body to stop its function and not take that with him in the DNA or cellular memory. He could simply stay present in the room. I could feel him take my left hand and held it for a while. Time is nonexistence where you are there.
I shared that family and friends would be there to greet him and it would be celebration of his return to source. It was peaceful, filled with love. My wish is that the family found comfort in the knowledge he was no alone. The pain and suffering are now gone from the physical body. His spirit is well.

My mother-in-law Dorothy was pleasant and a nice lady. We never had an argument; however, I was very aware that she was not a big fan of mine. I was independent. Spoke my mind and was not a push over for others ideas of what were acceptable. None of that has changed. I am an independent woman, willing to step up to the plate to assist many. However, I am not a pushover, just because you think I should assist you in any way, shape or form. If it is appropriate I will. It is called CHOICES. Most of the important choices to assist or not assist are encouraged by my spirit guides and the knowingness they bring.
  When people treat you wrong, or not appropriately, you need to know it is their lesson, not yours. Recently Dorothy (in spirit) dropped into a session I was doing. I was surprised with her visit knowing she really didn’t care for me. So was surprised at statements. It went something like this.  You know I did not really like you.  I did not treat you fairly. I preferred Tom’s first Wife. She did what I wanted. You were independent and did not follow my wishes. Therefore, I did not do what was right by you. I said yes I was aware. She said I have come in to tell you I am sorry that this is how it was. I understand so much more now. You are a good person do a lot of good work. I said thank you I am aware that you did not do right by me. I also stated. This is your lesson to learn, not mine. I was OK then. I am OK now and I will be OK in the future. My only request is that you take care of my kids the best you can.
I do not hold grudges. Who am I to judge you, I may be aware of why some of your actions and or soul lesson, but not your entire life.  As the natives say “Walk a mile in my moccasins”. I try to treat everyone with respect. I do not have to like you, to do right by you and/or respect you. I will always do the best I can to assist or help in any way. It is your personal responsibility to treat others the way you wish them to treat you.
Spirit often comes back to those they have mistreated to apologize or right a wrong. Sometimes they have messages or information that needs to be addressed by the family. They often leave coins, turn on/off lights to make you aware of their presence.

My father-in-Law Jim was a kind and gentle man. We had many views in common, including gardening. We have planned to grow peanuts together on his spot of heaven. He was not a church goer. He went to the 30 + acres of farm in Newtonville to be close to his God, his heaven on earth. It was a beautiful spot and I have shared my love of it in a blog already. He passed before we could do that. That is where I go often when I meditate. Jim loved birds and had a carrier pigeon coup in the back yard for years. I did not have the pleasure of knowing him during that period. One of his favourite birds was a breed of white pigeons that had feathers around the bottom of their legs. I believe they were called swallows. He loved them do to their flight habits. They go fly high into the sky and then as they flew downwards they would spiral. It was a magnificent sight. I know why he loved them.
When I gave birth to my son, it was uncomplicated. Six hours beginning to end. I lay in the hospital bed  my heart filled with happiness and my son in my arms. As I closed my eyes, I saw a pure white swallow carrier pigeon moving through the sky lifting higher, and higher and attaining the appropriate high. He began his descend twirling and twirling before my eyes. What a joy to watch, and I knew my father-in-law Jim was there with approval sharing in our joy. Spirit shares in our joy and is often there to show us.
My son James is names after this beautiful soul. He often drops in to visit. I know he is around when I smell his Cigar.   Spirit give us many signs of familiar items, or smells to let us know they are with us.

My blog is written encouraged to help those who wish to understand more about the workings of the spirit world. As a result of my blog, I had mom reach out to me recently for her teenage son; we will call him Mark.
We live in such a world of special children coming in with knowledge, understanding and awareness and sometimes anger from previous lives. When they talk about it, the PROFESSIONALS call them bipolar, psychotic, ADD/ADHD and wish to put them on drugs. Labels are not always accurate. I am not putting professional down, just stating they don’t know everything. Just as I don’t know everything, but at least I am open to listen and seeing what spirit can give us to assist them to understand the why and how of the insights they get. Past Life awareness is one of my gifts. I have a gift of seeing in my minds’ eye when you talk about past life.
So Mark: I ask him, tell me about the visions you have had. He proceeds to tell me. He knows he was in WW1. He hears shooting all around him, British voices and then is aware that his leg is shot off.  He is lying face down in the mud and someone turns him over. Then the person finishes him off by putting a bayonet through is body. I am seeing this I my minds’ eye.  He thought he was English due to the voices.  
Then inquired as to the family background? Mom was English and dad was French Canadian. Next I inquired as to his interests. He love drawing swords and warriors etc. He also played games that had Japanese characters as warriors. I noted how he wore his hair, pulled into a pony tail like a Samurai Warrior. I asked mom to look at his eyes as they also gave the slight appearance of being Japanese. When I saw his face during the explanation I knew he was Japanese not British, so I told him.
Now everything was coming into perfect perspective. He was not crazy, he was not paranoid, he did not need meds. He needed to recognize he was aware of his last life time here on the plane of existence. I am looking forward to future chats with this gifted young man so that he can understand he has an awareness of many of the new youth that have chosen to be alive now. HE IS NOT ALONE. Many are among us and need assurance they are mentally fine, and very aware.

When my daughter was in grade school the parents of one of her school mates called for help. They had friends who had just move here from worn torn Yugoslavia. The family had a son Mathew in Kinder garden who had panic attacks any time anything fell on the floor. I had inquired about the language barrier and was assured Mathew understood English. However, the parents had broken English and were still developing an understanding of our language. I said I would be honoured to see if I cold help. You see when you talk to me, I have the ability to see in my minds’ eye (3rd eye) why you are having a problem. So I knew I could help. Language might be an issue in this case, as my awareness is a gift and not everybody gets it.
I state that I would come as long as there were three (3) interpreters. The family lived just a few minutes away so we set the date and time. After introductions, I proceeded to sit and talk to Mathew, who approx. 5 years old. I asked him to explain why he was scared. As he spoke I saw that in a past life he was surrounded by Tanks with explosion going off all around him. I knew this was the past and that he had died in this horrible way.
I was also aware that he did not completely come to terms with how he had passed with he was in life review, nor did he work through the terror of the passing. He had brought this awareness into this life time as he wished to have these parents this time round. I took my time for both parents and child to come to terms with this information. I encouraged them ask questions so that they all understood. When I felt it was appropriate I took my leave, feeling wonderful for help one more soul understand why and how to move forward here on Earth.  Ah but my story is not done. Spirit is wonderful and we are all connected.
So three years later I open my front door and who is standing before me, “Mathew”. Do you remember me he, asks. I said yes. You look wonderful, how are you Mathew? He said I have come to ask you to help my mother and my baby sister. I welcomed them into my office and asked what the problem was. He stated that his mother was very worried as his new little sister could not keep anything down. Ah, I explain that she was lactose intolerant and gave them the name of formulas that were lactose free. They were great full and after big hugs left. Now I share this because you never know what the future holds for anyone or how you can touch on lives and they remember and come back. By the way, I never told Mathew or his family where I lived. He found me through spirit. Trust the process and you will never go wrong.   In love and light

 
LOVE
Real love is selflessness, the love that seeks nothing for itself, and in its highest form embraces the whole world of humanity. You are not an evolved soul until you can say, because I believe it, “I love all mankind. Love is the motivating force that causes motion, attraction, and growth. In its essence Love is divine like everything else, however, metaphysically speaking. Divine Love vibrates at a very high frequency, and is an expression of God-Consciousness. Any being that truly loves and impersonally is divinely-centered. Love gives one access to spiritual and divine energies.
One’s Spiritual growth is dependent upon the unfoldment of love within one’s heart. The greater our unconditional and impersonal love, directed by wisdom and understanding, the greater our spirituality. One who does not know how to give or receive love is spiritually ill. Love must first be generated WITHIN if we are to experience loving others .Love increases and judgement decreases.
The frequency 528 htz is love, healing and harmony.  The note of F represents the heart chakra and also increases oxygen to the body. The Sanskrit sound (vowel) is “ah” .Music for  the heart is Debussy’s Clair de Lune, Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto in F Major  and Beethoven’s Symphony no 8 in F.    In case you want romantic music.)
 
 There is love between two people who are complimentary to one another.  I have been blessed three times. I was truly blessed with each relationship. The first I could not live with, even though I loved him. The first was learning lessons of demanding respect, standing strong and the courage to move on when it became emotionally destructive. The next two were partners: complete opposites, allowing me to discover more about what I wanted, and needed to change to be a better partner. Change can only come from within.
 When demands are made it begins to weaken the relationship. Balance, respect and talking are the key to growing together. It does not mean you have to agree, but talking often allows both partners to understand how to find balance and work through anything. Once trust is lost: it can never be regained. With Valentines’ day near, I reflect on the Soul lessons that have enriched my life and allowed me to grow learn and continue discovering how grand love is.

I hear a lot of I am depressed. I am struggling. I have no money, I have no clients. Yup we are going through another MAJOR energy shift. Also people are now paying for Christmas. Too much Christmas spirit and sold into the commercialism.
Fear was positive and productive when we had to use our instincts to preserve ourselves. For the people of that time, fear played a positive Role.  False Evidence Appearing Real Your Ego is a creation of Fear. Your ego’s goals are to keep you feeling small, powerless, and inadequate and keeping you in line.
Our divine souls are the very opposite of fear. We are creative, positive and when you allow fear to take over. It replaces the knowledge and wisdom that allow you to be creative and move past the fear and solve the problem. It also changes the flow of energy and we can then find solutions to instead of magnifying the problem.
 I get in that state. Not often, but I do. I know it is time to focus on my creative abilities to move through it. When we change our thoughts, we change the flow of energy around us. Change something small in what your daily routine is. Then see how it starts to change your attitude
Knowledge and experience are great positive antidotes to fear, worry, and anxiety. Combine your efforts with a strong dose of mental attitude, love and prayer and you can free yourself forever.
 So I have a couple of Mantras I would like to share with you. The Universe supports me in all that I do.
All doors now open for happy surprises and the Divine Plan of my life is speeded up under grace.

I am often asked to explain the difference. Everyone has psychic abilities but they do not become spiritual MEDIUMS until they are developed, growing through kindness, tolerance, sympathy, love , and  service that they become good. Spiritual mastery is slowly attained. We live in an infinite world and so there are infinite experiences for each individual. Anyone working as a medium can only transmit what he/she has experienced at that time. It takes hard work, classes, daily meditation and asking many questions to become a good medium. Finding a good mentor is also wise. If you attend classes, pay attention, small details can make a big difference. Do not be paying with your phone as that is disrespectful to the teacher, other students and yourself. It also disrupts and lowers the flow of energy within the group  often leaving a class in lower vibrations making it more difficult for your guides to communicate easily.
If you go for a reading and your common sense says “No, I cannot accept this’” then reject it.  I always tell my students. Not everything you hear is YOUR TRUTH. Accept what feels right for now. The rest of the information is stored in your memory. Everyone learns at their own level and no two people are at the same level of spiritual growth. The world would be in chaos if we all developed at the same time. Respect is earned, not given. KNOWLEDGE is knowing what to say. WISDOM is knowing when to say it.                                         In love and light

The superconscious mind is the God Mind within each of us. Most people are not aware of their true destiny or Infinite Intelligence which is within them-selves. Universal Law allows you choose to prosper or to be worn out, dejected and discouraged.  I quote “Ask, and it shall be given you, seek, and ye shall find, knock, and it shall be opened unto you,” (Mat 7:7).  Substituting faith for fear, for fear is only negative thinking or not having faith.   To start to make changes in your thoughts, I always recommend starting with a positive affirmation. Affirmations can address any area in your life you find stressful.   Every time you have a negative thought use a POSITIVE AFFIRMATION to change your thinking process of the subconscious to positive thoughts and your world will begin to change, along with your outlook. A simple one I often give to start is my favourite, “The Universe supports me in all I do”. Another good one is: “All that is mine by Divine Right is now released and reaches me in great avalanches of abundance, under grace in miraculous ways”. If this is a new concept to you, please keep it simple to start.
If you want to make positive changes in your life: Don't sit on the couch & wait for it. Make a change. Get rid of clutter. Cluttered room, clutter thoughts. Be confident. Do things that challenge you. Use an affirmation for one week and see how your attitude changes. See how great life can be.                   in love and light

Mr and Mrs G were the parents of very dear friends. They spent the Summers in Canada with the son and the Winters in California with a daughter.
 Mr G. loved when I shared my latest adventures with SPIRIT. When Mrs G passed it was easy and with great acceptance. 3 months later Mr G. was on his death bed with great trepidation and fighting it. I believe this was due to being a fun sailor in his youth.  No proof of my belief, just a feeling from our long chats. He was indoctrinated by his religious beliefs that you were judged by God upon your demise.
As I became aware of his personal struggle to let go, I request PERMISSION to speak to him at a subconscious level, as I was in Whitby and he was in California. Once permission was given I explained in great detail. We judge ourselves as we review our lives with all the soul lessons we have completed and accomplished and those we need more work on.
I then told him when he was ready to call my name and I would accompany him “ TO” the light .I would not enter the light with him, as I had much left to accomplish here on earth.
An hour later I heard Mr G call my name. I sat down, focused and moved with him to the light. About an hour later, he returned to thank me for the assistance. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it.
A few days later the kids told me that when he was ready to let go: he gathered his family in his room,  requested  assistance to sit up, said I’m ready, closed his eyes, smiled and left.
The irony is that I never told the kids what I shared with him. I never explained why the fear or how I assured him. When they gave his time of passing I knew it was exactly when he called my name and I was honoured to assist.
Sometimes our belief system makes the transition from life to afterlife difficult. We have to assure our loved ones all is well and there is an afterlife.     Namaste.

Ya gotta love spirit. I am on a roll. I withdrew for approx a year. Needed to focus and reinvent how I do things.  Love my past, but after 24 years it was time for Alva to take care of Alva. I have been known for getting up in the middle of the night to write /channel Spiritual talks, and put together workshop etc. I have to admit that getting up in front of an audience to share my latest insights into knowledge is one of the BIG things I miss. To everything there is a season. My work and passion has taken me in a different direction. I still do readings, but it now time to focus more on Workshops and Mentor others to let go grow internally to know they can change their life to a much better and healthier outlook by letting go of whatever is holding them back. So that is my focus. Looking forward to sharing and assisting you to follow your passion. In love and light
When God gives you a new beginning, it starts with an ending. Be thankful for closed doors. They often guide us to the right one!

In the 80’s I was teaching a spiritual healing class out west. I was invited on Sunday Service to do the  Spiritual Talk and Proof of Survival. (Proof:  is bring messages from loved ones who have crossed into spirit). As I was standing on the podium a young man in distress started passing on information to his mother and father about his violent passing. I stopped him and promised I would address his request directly after the service as it was not appropriate time to share.
When the time was appropriate, I began to channel the information to the parents in private setting.  The young man had been murdered and he adamantly shared the circumstances surrounding his death, including how, when and where. The body could be located in a grove of tall trees, located on the south side of town. The sad part was that a lot of time had passed and he had not able to communicate with any of the local mediums up to this point, to help to bring confirmation and closure to his parents.
A close family friend was so impressed with the forthcoming information that he gifted me a commissioned painted copy of  Walking Buffalo. Walking buffalo was a well known Medicine Man in the Calgary area. He sits proudly in my office as reminder that spirit is always with us and ready to share and serve.
