Proof of Communication March 18
I was asked to by a good acquaintance to come to their home to comfort her dying father John and to assist him to cross. I arrived just after he crossed. I stayed to prepared the funeral service. He was an International Vice-president for one of the Canadian Banks. We started with a prayer for his safe crossing, and that was comforting to the family. He was a kind with a wonderful sense of humour. He was known for telling jokes. John loved to play tennis everywhere he travelled. The family were sharing who and what would be said etc. The daughter Julia said shall we bury him in the beautiful blue suit he looked so nice in. John piped up, “No, I want to be buried in my tennis whites. You know how much I loved tennis”. So it was. He shared that he was no longer in pain, and his wishes along with jokes to ease their pain. He stood to my left during the service smiling like a Cheshire cat. I know it was a comfort to his family to know he could share insights and laughter with them from the other side.
Mike a very dear and long time friend and John had made a pact that whoever crossed first would come back with a message that there is life after death. I was not aware of this. Directly after the service walked up to Mikes’ daughter asked, if she would pass on the message. “He wants you to tell Mike that he is fine and everything is as they both had imagined it to be.” What a pleasure to be a part of confirmation of the proof of life after death. I received a phone call a few weeks later from Mike in Costa Rica to share the story with me and ask if he could write about this experience. I replied with I would be honoured. Mike had written a book in two languages on his life called,” German Boy, English Girl”, World War 11 from both sides. At the end of his book he talks about the service and the confirmation of the message received through me. Mike sent me a copy for my library. I am honoured. The book title is accurate, the names have been changed. In love and light
